Your donation will help cover the costs to keep the website alive. It will also help acquire bricks from our trusted second-hand-sources, and allow us to take the time to sort through the vast amount of unusable bricks that come along in the bulk.

Why Donate to Dispatchwork?

At the base we are just a couple of idealists who think that it makes sense to take matters into our own hands. The tedious task to make our cities more fun, more colorful by placing little “easter-eggs” around the broken walls of our ever-crumbling cities. But, don’t get us wrong: we enjoy sitting out in the open in public space and patiently fitting little plastic bricks into dusty crevices to make a wall “whole” again and to surprise unsuspecting passers-by with a flash of color.

You may have noticed that this website has no advertisement. And, in order to stay independent, we have also refused direct sponsorship of major brick producers. In accordance with our belief that there are more than enough plastic bricks in circulation already, for this project to grow organically.

Oftentimes our projects include community workshops and after-school-programs, which generally don’t have a big budget. This way, by using second-hand-bricks, we can offer the material at a lower cost to them than usual. Your donation will help push the price even lower.

I have no money to spare, how else can I help?

Tons of usable construction bricks lay dormant. Forgotten in basements and attics of parents whose kids have long moved out. At Dispatchwork, we also gladly receive your material donations to give them a purpose and a new life as. If you want to donate Bricks directly rather than money, please send them directly to

Please best announce your delivery by sending us an email to donation@dispatchwork.info.

This way, we could even try to cover the shipping costs for you. And old forgotten bricks can get quite dirty when stored wrong (i.e. in wet basements..). We’d be thankful if you included in your email a couple of images of the contents, in order for us to know whether or not to put on the hazmat-suit before opening the box.

As a little token of gratitude, we’d send you in return a digital certificate with a QR brick design you can 3D-print at home.
